Wananavu Beach Resort has 25 comfortable deluxe Bures, a 2 -bedroom garden view Bure, an outstanding honeymoon Bure and 3 2-bedroom deluxe self-contained Villas. Our Bures & Villas are situated directly on, or just back from the palm-fringed ocean or amongst our lush tropical gardens offering superb ocean and fabulous garden views. There are no phones, radios or TVs in the Bures & Villas giving you the chance to experience a truly peaceful vacation.

Location
Wananavu is located on a headland overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Pacific where we offer spectacular ocean and sunset views. The views from the Restaurant/Bar complex are unparalleled, overlooking the nearby islands of Nananu-i- ra, Nananu-i-cake and Yanuca Island. At Wananavu, you have the feel of an Island Paradise, yet you have the convenience of being on the mainland.

The trip to Wananavu is an adventure in itself as the drive to the resort allows you to stop and experience the Real Fiji. This stunning drive takes approximately 2 hours.

Accommodation
All Bures & Villas have both ceiling fans and air-conditioning, refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. They are fully screened so windows and doors can be left open to let the light sea breeze filter through.

BEACHFRONT, OCEANVIEW & GARDEN BURES: These well appointed Bures consist of tasteful decor, pine-lined walls, polished timber floors, fully tiled bathroom each with their own private balcony. **Sleeps 2 adults 2- BEDROOM GARDENVIEW BURE: Our 2-bedroom Gardenview Bure is perfect for family or friends wanting to share together. Surrounded by coconut palms and hibiscus bushes, this Bure offers a peaceful atmosphere. The interior walls are pine- lined with tiled floors, fully tiled bathroom and a private balcony. ** Sleeps 4 adults or 2 adults / 2 children ** 1 x queen size bed plus 2 x single beds

2 BEDROOM BEACHFRONT VILLAS: These magnificent Villas are fully self contained. They each consist of 2 bedrooms (both with ceiling fans and air-conditioning), spacious fully tiled bathroom with laundry facilities, kitchen, dining/living area, outdoor BBQ area and large private balcony. The Villas are tastefully decorated with small Fijian handicrafts, pine-lined walls and polished timber floors. ** Sleeps 4 adults or 2 adults / 3 children ** 1 x queen size bed plus 2 x single beds ** An extra bed can be added for a third child

2 BEDROOM OCEANVIEW VILLA: This up-market Mediterranean style Villa consists of the same facilities as the Beachfront Villas. Plus, there is a large fully tiled ensuite off the master bedroom. Dining & Entertainment
At Wananavu Beach Resort experience our a la carte dining featuring International and Local Cuisine including fresh fish and lobster caught from the Bligh Waters directly out from the Resort.

Daily trips can be arranged to secluded beaches on the nearby islands where you can take a Picnic Lunch or enjoy a Beach BBQ cooked over an open fire.

As the day comes to an end, enjoy a cocktail from our Sunset Bar and watch the sun setting in to the horizon. When the nights are clear and there is a gentle sea breeze, you can dine under the stars while overlooking the clear waters of the Pacific.

Every night our Wananavu Serenaders will enchant your evening with Fijian music and songs where a bowl or two of ’Kava’ (Fiji’s Ceremonial Drink) should not be missed.

A Traditional Fijian Feast, also known as a Lovo, is organised once a week subject to guest numbers in house with undoubtably the best Meke performance in Fiji. Wananavu’s own staff entertain you with the songs and dances that recall the stories from the past.

For that Special Celebration/Wedding Night, we can organise a Wananavu Feast. A selection of dishes is provided for your choice, however, we require notice in advance.

Our Sunset Bar is open from 7.00am until the last person leaves. We offer a wide variety of beverages and if you can not find a suitable cocktail, advise us your favourite ingredients from our selection and let our staff do the rest.

Activities
If it is a picnic to a secluded beach, diving in our pristine waters abundant with sea life and live corals or just relaxing around our lovely pool, then this is the place to be. You can be as active or inactive as you please while on holiday here. In addition to the activities shown below (some complimentary, some paid-for), we also offer Village tours, Island Discovery tours, and Waterfall tours. Complimentary activities include snorkelling off the beach, a tennis court, kayaking, cultural and bush medicine talks, coconut demonstrations with climbing, husking and grating shown and snorkelling equipment. We also have a swimming pool & a brand new Massage and Beauty Spa with an amazing outlook. Our trained beauty therapists will pamper you completely.

Wananavu Beach Resort provides a perfect location for those couples wanting to marry in paradise. You choose your ideal location, by the marina under the shade of the coconut palms, on our grass lawns overlooking the ocean or on the sandy beaches nestled amongst our tropical garden.
